Leadership Development Program
The Leadership Development Program enables students to realise more from their studies and further their careers by developing their executive competencies. The program is delivered by a UK management consultant who has more than 30 years experience in leadership development, marketing and strategy.
Team working and communication
Insights into individual behaviours and personality are gained using world class personality tools including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® and 16PF®. Customised interpretation and feedback is provided so that a personal development plan can be prepared. Particular emphasis is placed on team working and communication.
Executive competencies
The 16PF personality test provides a focus for the development of executive competencies and enables these to be compared at the start and conclusion of the course. This provides input for the personal development plan and a sense of the student’s growth over the duration of the course.
Managerial judgement and decision-making
Management Scenarios assess the individual’s ability to make effective decisions based on real-life situations. By comparing results at the start and conclusion of the course, progress can be evaluated and managerial judgement can be compared with a relevant benchmark.
Practical developmental feedback
A combination of one-to-one coaching and group sessions provides a practical focus for the development of leadership, communication, team working and ethical decision-making skills. The goal is to create well-rounded leaders by building on the theoretical knowledge gained during the Executive MBA programme.
Personal development plan
The personal development plan is a key element of the personal development program, providing a basis for setting goals and reviewing progress. The plan is developed at the start of the Executive MBA program, reviewed and refreshed at the midpoint, then reviewed again at the end of the course.
Feedback for employers
At the conclusion of the programme, a personalised report is prepared describing the development of executive competencies and providing evidence of outcomes for employers.
